Where are you from? Ben: Huntsville; Anna: Hazel Green
How did you two meet? While finishing up my degree at UAHuntsville, I worked as an intern receptionist at a company in Huntsville, Alabama. One day Ben came in with another colleague for a business meeting with the HR department, and I greeted them. Fulfilling my administrative duties, I offered them water or coffee. Ben wanted water.
Apparently, it was very refreshing, because later that day Ben contacted me through Facebook and asked for my number to go out sometime. I was at the tail end of a casual relationship and declined, but Ben was funny and charming and caught my affection quickly. We went out on our first date, which happened to fall on the same night as one of Ben's roomate's going-away celebration. That evening I got to know not only Ben, but his friends and his dog, Izzy (who is awesome).
