Full and prettyThis is a full and pretty bridal veil. The comb is plastic so you may need to add a few pins to keep the veil from slipping. Product is as described and I was satisfied with purchase.
Great product
This veil is gorgeous.It had alot more fluff than the veils I tried on in the bridal stores. It is just great and the edging adds to its elegance. My mother loves it as wellIt looks as good on as in this picture. I even intend to wear it in the same way she has it on the pic

Part of the reason for this low rating is my fault; probably every other bride knows you never buy your veil before your dress, which is what I did. Aside from that, it's okay as veils go. It will make you feel bridal, but it's not very well-made. But it does its job, especially for something that's worn only once. However, I have no complaints about Ginger Wedding; they sent it very promptly and for exactly the price someone should have to pay for this veil.

As the groom finishes his vows, and promises to love her forever, he lifts the veil and is able to see the woman that he is going to spend the rest of his life with. Therefore, for many people, the wedding veil is very important due to its symbolic meaning. Over the past decades the wedding veil has transformed its meaning. Once only used for its symbolic meaning, a glamorous wedding veil now signifies joy, and highlights the bride’s flawless features as it is the final touch to her picture perfect ensemble.

Is it really necessary to wear a wedding veil? I tried on a few wedding dresses and I loved wearing the tiara but felt the veil kind of took away from the dress. Any thoughts?
it definately isn't necessary. It's totally personal preference. If you don't like it, don't wear it. Most people wear something in their hair, but the tiara would count as that without anything else. I bought my veil for $10 at Michaels and it worked
