Gorgeous Set to Last a Lifetime!
I bought this set for our wedding to match an old charmed classic theme, and they are beautiful! Frosted glass, high quality, and elegant. I have since used them many times for cutting & serving desserts and I always receive compliments. It's also nice to remember cutting our wedding cake with them. I can't rave enough, I would purchase them again.
Poor Quality
The picture and reviews gave me high hopes for a decent product. The design looks elegant from far, but the quality is very poor. The blade of the knife and server seem like they are made of plastic and coated with metallic film. Both items have dull edges. The Frosted Glass in the product is not glued down properly, so it rattles when the product is used.If you are looking for something that looks good from afar for a one time use, this product may work for you. Otherwise save your return shipping money!

Life's short ... enjoy 'cakes' for dinner
Some days we have a little more time to spend cooking dinner. When I feel that way, recipes such as this can take center stage. It’s not that this recipe takes long to cook – only a few minutes; however the preparation will take a while. But believe me, the end result is well worth the effort.
Many restaurants carry crab cakes for appetizers and main entres. This recipe is a bit of a take off on that dish. Instead of crab, we’ll use salmon. Salmon has a rich, high fish oil flavor and is an excellent source of nutrition. The recipe as printed serves two, so simply double your amounts if you want to cook this for four.
I like to use an electric frying pan to cook up this recipe. It allows me more accurate control of the temperature of the oil. Speaking of the oil, be sure not to put too much in your fry pan as I did last week. By the time I had my four salmon cakes sizzling in the pan, the oil level had come up to the top of my cakes. This is much too high. Use enough oil so that when you add your salmon cakes, the oil level only comes up to the center of the side of the cake.
