Nice SeparatorThis is easy to put together and looks great. Just as pictured. I used it for my parents 50th Anniversary cake. I covered each layer in white fondant and put three colors of pink fondant roses around each layer. I then wrapped the separator with wide gold ribbon and used two straight pins to stick it to the foam. It looked great!
Better than I thought!
I got this item having looked at other reviews not knowing if I was gonna care for it, But I LOVE it! I have used it for my cake business and put ultra sound pictures in the sleeve between 2 cake tiers and it was a big hit~ I had no problem with the foam but it did seem a little dense and brittle so I can understand someone having a problem with it if they aren't gentle!

I used this product to make my first 3 tier cake and it worked wonderfully. I was so excited that my cake stood up straight and didn't fall over. I like that the dividers are stirofoam (sp) so they did not make the cake more heavy. Also one of my dowels were cut slightly taller than the rest, and it was fine because it could just stab into the divider and not have to be recut.

Wakefield's 'Just Desserts' Headed to Reading
After 15 years in Wakefield, Just Desserts , purveyors of fine European cakes and pastries is headed to Reading.
Pastry Chef and owner Patrice Pullo will be merging her business with Calareso’s Farm Stand and Garden Center and moving into their new Main Street location , which is nearly ready for occupancy .
Pullo shuttered her Wakefield (291 Albion St.) storefront on Dec. 31, and is eager to continue providing the delectable delights Just Desserts has become known from the brand new space at Calareso’s. The store has developed a loyal following, who, according to a press release announcing the merge, have expressed excitement about the merge.
“People are pressed for time and value convenience. They also value affordable quality products and with this merge we’ll be able to offer our quality products conveniently,” said Pullo in a statement regarding the merge .
The move is a strategic one, and it is hoped that it will support and enhance Just Desserts’ business growth without a lot of the financial stress most businesses experience. The new location is on busy Route 28, just off the highway.
