Perfect for a weddingMy husband and I planned and paid for our wedding. We were trying to save money, so we decided to decorate our own arch for our outdoor ceremony. This worked perfect. Instead of rented and returning, we now have the arch we were married under to put in outdoors at our home. The arch was stable outside and held up through a few open air transports to different sites.

I purchased this for my wedding. I thought it looked pretty neat in the description and would come in handy for the reception. It arrived quickly after purchase and when I opened it I realized it did not have any decorations. No problem that was actually my fault for not paying attention to the full description - ran to Hobby Lobby picked up some vines and flowers and the arch was beautiful. I used it as the background for the head table and my husband and I took pictures under it. The pictures came out great with the extra lights from the arch. My husband is over 6 ft tall so the fact that the arch was 8 ft was perfect. It is a sturdy item and assembly is fairly simple. I got a lot of compliments on the arch during the reception. It turned out better than I expected.
Perfect, Elegant
I got this for my sisters wedding. We decided it would be used over the cake display at her wedding. It was perfect and looked really classy. The built in lights made it soooo much easier than the arches that you have to string the lights yourself. Plus it didn't have cords wrapped all around it from self strung lights. I would definitely recommend this product!

After all-time high, jasmine prices see a great fall
Madurai Flower Market Vendors' Association president S Ramachandran said the fresh flowering season had brought relief. "It is fortunate that winter is almost over and the hot afternoons will aid the blooming of these flowers. The price that stood at 1,500 a kg two days ago has come down to 450 a kg and will remain so for the next week," he said.
Jasmine farmers in Nilakottai in Dindigul district say it is good that winter is coming to an end. Sonnai, a farmer, said that despite the high prices they had found it difficult to meet the demand as the flowers had started wilting very soon. "Unlike, in the month of Margazhi and during the Mandalam-Makaram season popular with Ayyappa devotees, when even the smaller buds can be sold off, in the month of Thai, decorators and makers of garlands, ask for full blooms," he said.
Farmers say they pay the flower-pickers, usually women and children, 100 for a specific quantity. The picking is usually done early in the morning. This year, the cold weather kept the usual pickers away forcing farmers to pay higher wages to others in spite of the buds getting spoilt due to the weather.
