This dress looked BEAUTIFUL but poorly made!
This dress was beautiful, the problem was there was little holes all over the top layer on the bottom and it was only minutes after my very calm 9yr old put it on that there were flowers everywhere! It fit her great, just above the ankle so it wasn't too long , but when i looked there were a few large holes in the netting that held the flowers and she left a trail of them all night. I was hoping to get more than 1 use out of this dress but it doesn't look that way. On the other hand I found a beautiful dress for my older daughter for 30$ that i am sure she will be able to wear over and over for different occasions! Very Disappointed!!!

THE WEDDING never took place. However, I always had a vision of myself attired in white lace with a flowing gown and with bridesmaids dressed in fluffy pink.

As I started down the aisle, though, and peered toward the altar, there was no groom. The priest stood attentively, and the colorful array of flowers beckoned one forward. There was an empty place at the front and center of the church. There was no groom.

My celebration lacked that essential person; the one who would provide the comfort of connectedness, the one who would dissolve my feelings of abandonment and of being alone. I could therefore envision a wedding, but I had no vision of a marriage.

I was cut off, alone in my fantasy, but clinging to it like a life raft on the Titanic. The emptiness of walking down the long aisle only to be alone once again, never fully permeated my consciousness. The wedding, the symbol of love, never occurred.

Hidden behind grief
