Wedding favor question! Opinions? 10 points best answer!?
I would go with a crystal-clear treat bag. Picture the cookie inside, gathered at the top with coordinating ribbon, with a tag you could make and print on cardstock tied on. The cookie would really stand out as such and I think it’d make for a great presentation.
And fyi: treat bags usually come in packs of 24 for around $4 (Michaels, JoAnn fabrics or Hobby Lobby). It doesn’t get more affordable than that! =]
I found a site called Fetpack.Ink, but don’t know anything about them. The site says they don’t charge shipping anywhere in the US and Canada. I’m not sure if they have orange colored boxes, but you can always use white boxes, put your cookies inside them and decorate with orange bows/ribbon…would make for a pretty setting on the tables…and you could do as someone suggested here, tie a name tag on each box…or go and buy some of the embossed letters if you are set on monograms or stickers…I’ve seen those...

I need wedding favor boxes that are hard boxes with lids that open like a jewelry box, so that the lid is hinged on, I do not want paper or boxes that tuck and fold???

Favoring sweet favors
Katie Kucharski, sales representative for Avalon Manor in Merrillville (avalonmanor.com), has noticed new favorites when it comes to favors. Years ago, personalized CDs and disposable cameras filled the tables, but now she sees more sweet treats. "Half of the brides are doing candy tables, so that's really popular," she says. Personalized candy bars and favor boxes with candies are also appearing at place settings.
Another thing guests might go home with: a late-night snack. "We've done White Castle a few times recently or pizzas," Kucharski says.
For fancier snacks, a couple might choose to serve finger sandwiches. "It's a little different. We'll put the White Castles on the silver platter in novelty boxes. It's just a cute, fun idea."
