Great pictures & adviceI initially saw this book in a bookstore but it was $40.00 and I thought that was a little too steep for my budget. So I naturally went on Amazon and purchased it for $26! Such a great deal. Not only does it have amazing pictures, but for every part of your wedding, it gives a check list and how long you should give yourself to accomplish a task. Amazing. This will be glued to my side throughout my entire planning process. Great work, The Knot!
Favourite Coffee Table Book!!!!!
I am studying event management and styling and since beginning I have collected loads of coffee table books on weddings and events to inspire me! Out of a large collection of over 30 books I can safely say this is my favourite! It is set out fabulous in colour scheme's and theme's and it really easy to follow it is a fabulous source of inspiration and reference as well as gorgeous to look at! If you can only purchase one book this would be it for me! I love looking through it, it makes me excited to be in the industry and maybe even want to plan my own wedding. It is really colourful and stunning to look out but also have achievable ideas that look great

The Everything Creative Wedding Ideas Book
I LOVE books about weddings and I was really hoping to find something unique in this book. I was sadly disappointed as it offered nothing that I had not already read in dozens of bridal magazines and other books previously purchased.
My opinion? Forget this book and buy the magazines. At least they have pictures to show you what they are talking about.
I bought this book for $3 in the bargain section of the bookstore. I later donated it. Even though it was cheap, it wasn’t worth the space on my bookshelf!
It’s not that the book is bad. It’s a decent assortment of wedding planning tips and ideas. The problem is, it’s not really that creative. The book basically starts from the assumption that most weddings are exactly the same, and that by deviating slightly, you’re being extremely innovative. So it will give suggestions like including your pets in the bridal party, or holding your reception at a museum instead of a country club. Things that most people immersed in planning a wedding have at least seen suggested before. Every now and then, there are a few more unusual suggestions, but even those are mostly impractical- like getting married while skydiving. Anybody who is going to do something extreme like that will have thought of it themselves without needing to buy a book. It also just seems unoriginal- like the authors were struggling to come up with the “wackiest” thing they could think of but fell back on a cliche.

I'm in charge of making the guest book for an upcoming wedding. I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with this and what would be an easy and cheap [but very nice quality] way to do this? I'd like some unique ideas. Thanks!

On a pretext, you sidle nearer to check out his hands: ‘They were big and strong. Bingo.’ He also had ‘a body chiselled out of granite’.
