Timeless BeautyThis book is not as detailed as his first book, Makeup Makeovers, but more of a compliment. This book focuses specifically on the Bride and Bridesmaids to create that picture-perfect look of timeless beauty for that Special Day. Stunning photographs with classic and timeless looks. A great inspiration for the novice and advance makeup artist. Get both of his books if you can afford to but if you have to choose one or the other, his first book is the best!
Disappointed
I have the author's book Makeup Makeovers, which I did like very much. However, this book is pretty much a rerun of the first. I did not learn anything new. Pictures are the same. And there are no pictures or discussion of the challenges of the mother of the bride, grandmother of the bride age group. I did learn if the bride's hair is up, the attendants hair should be down and to have the bride's lipstick in the groom's pocket. Those tips were not worth the price of the book. Buy one or the other, but you sure do not need both. I should have tried the library first.
Perfect for my wedding!
I decided to do my own makeup for my wedding. My wedding pictures turned out great. My bridesmaids and I looked wonderful! The step by step instructions were easy and a lot of it applies to everyday makeup. The photographs in the book are beautiful as well. I am able to translate that to everyday looks and that makes it useful after the wedding.

Teacher brings Yiddish music, stories into kids' lives
They were playful songs she used to sing to her children in the car or at home, anywhere where she could put a smile on their faces.
And anywhere where she could continue to teach them Yiddish.
Dr. Khane-Faygl Turtletaub of Skokie always sang her made-up songs to her kids in Yiddish, a language she wanted to pass down to them.
A Yiddish teacher at Northwestern University, Turtletaub is now trying to pass down her treasured language to other children as well. Her songs make up a vibrant new book/CD, “Yiddish Songs For Children.”
“The first words my children ever heard were in Yiddish,” said Turtletaub who had four children in three years.
“They were like little puppies all over the place, and I didn’t let them watch television except for Sesame Street,” she said. “I would sing to them. Whatever I saw, I would make up a song just to entertain them.”
