Amazing resource to help with all of your wedding planning needsThis portfolio is essential for anyone planning a wedding! It takes you from "where do I start" all the way through the minute details of planning your big day! Since I ordered the book, I have taken it with me to every meeting to record notes and make sure I am asking the right questions. The portfolio guides you through the process of planning your wedding, including extensive information about all of the decisions you will face and etiquette on how to properly handle a modern wedding. I highly recommend this book to any bride who wants keep her wedding planning organized.
Fantastic Resource!
I am absolutely loving my Wedding organizer! My fiance and I got engaged right before Christmas and the first thing I wanted was a place to keep everything together. This has been perfect! I love that it is a 3 ring binder so I can put in and take out pages as needed, and that it has pockets to place all of the loose papers. There is also a place for business cards and a plastic zip bag in the back which is quite handy. I would definitely recommend this fantastic resource!!
Planning Perfection!
Although I've only been engaged for a month, this organizer has been a dream! Reading through the timeline is a perfect starting point for those beginning the planning process. All of Mindy's suggestions are sweet and helpful, and I just love the slip pockets at the beginning of each section - just big enough to hold all your tear sheets and drawings! This is a wonderful companion to Mindy's , as well! If you're not employing the services of a wedding planner (and even if you are), this is your number one tool!

Easy Wedding Planner, Organizer & Keepsake | Wedding Planner
I just turned 19 years old and this year I decided to get stuff that would be useful in my future! This book is so easy even for anyone! This book is worth your time and money! it has things like checklist and who pays for what and questions you have to ask vendors. what really made me feel Good was the poems on each and every folder they where just wonderful.

An open bar can be overrated, but a signature cocktail can be fun. “Some people just do a soft bar, which is wine, beer, sodas, and, if the budget allows, you can add champagne. . . . [Or] if you have a soft bar with a signature cocktail, I think it works. It was such a huge trend for a while there and it’s faded a little, but we’re still doing some martini bars. What’s huge now is tequila. . . . It’s not always a budget-friendly thing, but if you’re going to have one signature drink, do tequila.’’
Look at your linens. “You want to see what the venue offers - sometimes they already have good linens and napkins. Then look at their dishes, cloths, and whatever else the venue offers before you start renting. Sometimes it’s not expensive to rent a colored napkin if the venue only has white. What I like to do is go to flea markets and buy vintage napkins for 50 cents to $2. It’s a cool look to have all mismatched napkins.’’
Consider the food. “When you order wedding cake, they usually charge per piece. If you have 200 guests, you’ll have a lot of cake left over. Order for 25 people less than you have attending. Also, back East and probably in Boston, I know they still do a smorgasbord with a huge cocktail hour and so much food. You should still offer food during your cocktail hour because you don’t want people to get drunk. But it’s better to have just a few small foods and a nicer dinner. Apps pass by you, but dinner, you sit down and look at it.’’
