Present for bridal shower?
Something nice from Pier 1 Imports is always a good way to go. Nearly anything for the home is always a safe thing to get. It can “say”, congratulations, but doesn’t have to have alot of “heart” behind it if you don’t feel it.
If they are moving into a new place…a gift card to a home improvement place like Lowes, Home Depot can be useful as well.
A more heartfelt type of gift could be a simple antique for decoration in their new place…a nice small lamp or interesting old framed picture or painting.
What about something that would compliment one of the items on the registry? Like a bottle of wine, or a bundle of paper napkins in assorted colors/patterns (the nice ones, not the cheap ones)… I think it might be unexpected, but pleasantly so!
One other idea: A nice porcelain or ceramic soap dispenser for either dishwashing soap or hand soap, and accompany with a soap refill. That kind of thing is often not on the registry, but a really nice thing to have.

I have two questions regarding a wedding registry. We've decided to register at Amazon.com and 80% of what we're asking for is under $50, most gifts under $25. We love to bargain shop, and don't want to ask our guests to pay enormous
I'm going to do things out of order here.
Question 2: I love the idea of comments! I'd be far more likely to order a board game if I knew it was important to the couple. I order a lot of things online and would love to order from Amazon.
