TOTAL DISPPOINTMENTI had bought this product in a Mikasa store a while back and was looking to add servings to the flatware I had. I was so excited to see Amazon had these, but when I got the box, it was completely different than those I had purchased from the Mikasa store. The original Mikasa flatware I have is made in Korea and is 18/10, the ones from Amazon I got were made in Indonesia and are 18/0, quite a difference in appearance, weight, etc... The Mikasa pieces I have came individually wrapped and in their box, these came all together in bags wrapped in a rubber band, and all together in 1 box. Very poor presentation and not to mention quality. The original flatware I have is dishwasher safe, these are not! So I'm definitely returning! I was looking in the Miksasa online store and they have this flatware, but again in 18/0 and they don't mention wether made in Indonesia or Korea... I assume Indonesia, but very disappointing to see they have lowered their quality standards.
Beautiful, but inconsistent
I bought a service for 8 at a Mikasa store in 2002 for our vacation home. It is beautiful, 18/10 flatware that has held up well. (I would rate that flatware 5 stars.) Now someone we let stay at our home has lost three salad forks and I am having difficulty finding replacements that are 18/10 and not 18/0. (I would not purchase 18/0 flatware because it won't match.) I looked on the Mikasa site where they still sell sets of 18/10, but did not find a way to purchase individual pieces. All of the replacement pieces I have found online are 18/0. The set is not serviceable with only five salad forks, so now I'm looking for a new set of flatware. Not happy.

Is it possible to create a registry for my bridal shower in ...
I have found things that I like at Fortunoff, Macy’s, and some stuff online. I know that usually, when you create a registry, the store gives you little cards to put into your invites. But how do I convey websites? Has anyone done this before, or should I just suck it up and do all in one store? My problem is that department stores don’t have the cute "bride to be" or "mr. and mrs" stuff that I would like to get.
You can register at as many stores as you please as long as you’re registering for things you and your FH will need to begin a home together. After you register, simply list the stores you’re registered at on the bottom of the shower invitation.
A word of advice though: it’s perfectly acceptable to mention registries on shower invitations. After all, the whole point in a shower is to "shower" one with gifts! However, there should be NO mention whatsoever of gifts of any kind on the actual wedding invitations. Even if you don’t want your guests to being gifts to the wedding, do NOT mention gifts at all.

How do I create a wedding registry for money instead of registering at stores?
My fiancee and I already have everythin we need for the wedding and the house. We just need money to pay for the things we had to buy. I am trying to find a way to create a registry for our guests to send us money donations instead of things from stores.
Pay Pal is a hassle anyway because the 'seller' (you and your fiance) will have to pay a small fee for the priviledge of having money dropped into your account.
