Timeless BeautyThis book is not as detailed as his first book, Makeup Makeovers, but more of a compliment. This book focuses specifically on the Bride and Bridesmaids to create that picture-perfect look of timeless beauty for that Special Day. Stunning photographs with classic and timeless looks. A great inspiration for the novice and advance makeup artist. Get both of his books if you can afford to but if you have to choose one or the other, his first book is the best!
Disappointed
I have the author's book Makeup Makeovers, which I did like very much. However, this book is pretty much a rerun of the first. I did not learn anything new. Pictures are the same. And there are no pictures or discussion of the challenges of the mother of the bride, grandmother of the bride age group. I did learn if the bride's hair is up, the attendants hair should be down and to have the bride's lipstick in the groom's pocket. Those tips were not worth the price of the book. Buy one or the other, but you sure do not need both. I should have tried the library first.
Perfect for my wedding!
I decided to do my own makeup for my wedding. My wedding pictures turned out great. My bridesmaids and I looked wonderful! The step by step instructions were easy and a lot of it applies to everyday makeup. The photographs in the book are beautiful as well. I am able to translate that to everyday looks and that makes it useful after the wedding.

About Me: I'm a self proclaimed perfectionist and a professional nomad (seriously, I've lived in TX, WI, MI, FL, NC, and now VA!). Since I didn’t have time to find a makeup artist before I moved to Virginia last fall, I had to do it once I returned to Florida. Yes, I was cutting it close, but sometimes I work well under pressure! In my search, I came across Camposecco Artistry , and I requested more information. After speaking with Donna, we set up a time for a makeup trial!
What are some good makeup looks for a evening wedding?
A smokey eye, that's not too heavy but has some shimmer to it would be perfect. Light pink/nude lip with it. Giving it a little brown tone makes it look different also.
