Beautiful pictures,not much elseThis book is beautifully presented with lovely photographs. It would be helpful to brides with a lot of money to spend at the florist and for brides who like flowers but are not familiar with what is in season year-round. If you want beautiful pictures to show the florist, this book is for you. If you are a skilled flower arranger who has a business or who does a lot of arranging for friends, this book would give you some ideas that could be used for occasions other than weddings.There is a brief chapter at the end giving some instructions for making a few bouquets and a few general remarks. This book is useless for the person who has some experience arranging flowers but who needs detailed instructions for special effects.

I really loved this book. I bought it for a friend that was planning her wedding and she keeps thanking me. With over 300 gorgeous pictures of corsages, bouquets and centerpieces- it is perfect for planning any event. Great book and easy to read.

Beautiful pictures but few actual instructions on how you could make these yourself. It did have some ideas that we may use in planning the flowers for a wedding this fall. If you need or want more instructions try another book.

Is there a website that shows some ideas for wedding flower arrangements I can look at?
I am getting married in august and I would like to make my own arrangements with silk flowers and I need some idea's. It is a long way off but I would like to start looking.
The simplist way is toy do a Search on Google or Yahoo in the images section. Type in wedding bouquets, wedding flowers, wedding centerpieces, etc and you are sure to find ones you like. You'll even find links to the web pages the images came from!

Kristen Lee Murphy and Jordan Craig Silverthorne exchanged wedding vows Saturday evening, July 2, 2011, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Austin with the Rev. Sam Riccobene, associate pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Austin, officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Jon and Rhonda Murphy of Doha, Qatar, formerly of Katy, Texas. Silverthorne is the son of Craig and Jean Silverthorne of Plainview.
Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a Kenneth Pool ivory, strapless, royal satin ball gown with a sweetheart neckline. The fitted bodice featured Swarovski crystal applique and hand beading through the dropped waistline. The full skirt had a glove button detail and grand beaded appliques at the side hems and the cathedral train.
She wore a cathedral veil and blusher of silk illusion, with an ivory silk satin ribbon edge. Her bouquet was an arrangement of white peonies, roses, gardenias and lilies of the valley accented with a vintage gold Hamilton ribbon watch that was a gift from the groom; a vintage diamond filigree wedding band and lace handkerchief that belonged to the bridegroom's grandmother, and a St. Catherine pendant from childhood. Completing her ensemble were diamond encircled pear drop earrings and a pear-shaped diamond drop necklace with diamonds interspersed along the neckline that were borrowed from her jeweler.
